
About
Born in Porto, Inês Pinto is a Portuguese soprano based in Berlin.
She has been working mostly as a freelancer throughout Europe, with many projects under her belt. Since 2023, she has worked as a fest soprano with the Berliner Schloss Konzerte, performing regularly in Berlin and Brandenburg. Her duo with the Portuguese guitarist Márcio Silva allows her to promote her Iberian roots, as does her collaboration with the im Frauenland Ensemble, where she has two ongoing projects featuring music by Kurt Weill and Portuguese composers in a theatrical setting that showcases her qualities as an actress (for more info, swipe down).
Inês completed her Bachelor’s in Opera Singing and her Master’s Degree in Music Education at the University of Évora under the guidance of Liliana Bizineche, a well-known Romanian mezzo-soprano.
She has performed the following opera roles: Juliet Brook and Sophie Brook (The Little Sweep by B. Britten), Barbarina (Le Nozze di Figaro by W. A. Mozart), Papagena (Die Zauberflöte by W.A. Mozart), Dido (Dido and Aeneas by H.Purcell), Amore (Orfeo Ed Euridice by C. W. Glück), Cleopatra (Giulio Cesare by Handel), Madame Herz (Der Schauspieldirektor by W.A.Mozart) and Galatea (Acis and Galatea by Handel). As a soloist she also sang Gloria by John Rutter (Casa da Música, Oporto), Invitation to a Miracle by Joseph Martin (Casa da Música, Oporto), Stabat Mater by Pergolesi (Convento dos Remédios, Évora and Academia de Ciências de Lisboa) and Requiem by John Rutter (Bath, England). Currently, she is working privately with Abbie Furmansky.
She teaches singing in her private studio in Berlin.
Projects

im Frauenland Ensemble it's a female ensemble based in Berlin that promotes Portuguese and Kurt Weill's music. The current ongoing projects are “Alma, Vida e Coração” and “Kurt Weill im Licht”.
